Donnella:
(1) Format your posts. Remove excessive quotes. (2) The primary source of demographic data used by Peters was the Turkish census which was inaccurate and every academic doing historical analysis agrees that that data was typically unreliable and easily discredited. (3) Her footnotes for her tome is voluminous and not even second party. Often quotes are wrong and there is NO reliability for third party sources. It is like saying, he said she said he said. (4) If mistakes were made, what good is it? (5) If the bibliography is bigger than the book (not in my copy, by the way, so your are exagerating), and the bibliography is inaccurate or contains inaccuracies it nullifies everything else and makes the entire book worthless. It is a worthless resource and to use it after it has been debunked is illogical. Find another source.
