I agree that theElectoral College needs to be eliminated. I sent that
suggestion to the likes of MoveOn, CommonCause, GreenPeace, True Majority,
etc. etc. etc., asking them to think about joining forces and minds to do it
Votes are insignificant, unless, they also would join forces and put up a
website and hold an election where anybody could write in anybody for any
office in the land and see how 'we the people' actually tally up. Wouldn't
that be exciting? A truly free election? Kinda makes
They certainly have the numbers, communication system, bucks, lawyers, good
minds, et al to get either or both of those actions in motion. And, wow,
what a statement and what a force if they acted collectively.
