It is my understanding that EAC Test&Copy offers no advantages if
you're in Secure Mode. I base this in the info from
http://www.teqnilogik.com/tutorials/eac.htm#AboutTestAndCopy that is
below.

Please correct me if I am mistaken.

About Secure Mode
Secure mode is a mode in EAC where every sector on the disc is reread
at least twice. If an error is detected, EAC will reread that same
sector up to a maximum of 16 times. If two identical results are not
achieved, EAC will display an error. At the end of the ripping process
EAC will show you where that error occurred and allow you to listen to
that part of the track so you can determine whether or not the error is
audible. Secure mode is slower than traditional ripping modes because of
the error correction it offers.

About Test and Copy
Test and Copy is a feature in EAC where EAC generates a Test CRC value
of an audio track on a CD and then compares that value to a Copy CRC
value generated from the extracted audio file. If the Test CRC and Copy
CRC match then the rip was accurate. If those values do not match then
rip was not accurate. Test and Copy mode is best used with Burst mode.
Burst mode is the mode in EAC that uses no error correction during the
ripping process. Even without error correction, accurate rips are
possible. Test and Copy works best on CDs with minimal or no scratches.
Test and Copy will allow you to achieve accurate results without the
slower speed of Secure Mode. If you get inaccurate results using Test
and Copy you can re-rip those tracks again with Test and Copy to see if
accurate results are produced or you can re-rip those tracks using
Secure Mode.
