I now have 'overread into lead in' checked and I get no error messages,
which I understand means that my drive (Plextor PX-716UF) is capable of
overreading into the lead in. Is that right?

Accurate rip is now working.

What are the implications for my previous rips of not having checked
the 'overread into lead in' box? I was ripping in secure mode and my
other setting were: C2 reporting unchecked, cache box checked, 'fill
up missing samples' unchecked. I got no errors and the reported
accuracy was 100 percent for 90 percent of tracks, and above 99.7
percent in all other cases.

Thanks,
Randy
