There are so many settings it's almost hard to present definitive
instructions. Consider the following; someone used secure mode with c2
checked, thinking their drive was accurately reporting c2 errors- when
in fact it wasn't. A test and copy with the same drive/settings would
have produced a more accurate rip in this scenario, or you would at
least be warned of non-matching tracks.

This only matters if the disc isn't in the accuratRip database or you
have a diff pressing, because a single accurateRip match is like doing
test and copy, but with someone else's results- in which case reading
twice wouldn't be necessary.

People in a hurry can/should use burst mode with test and copy because
it's so fast, especially if you can get AR confirmation to boot.

People with discs not in the AR database, OTOH, should use whichever
mode gives them AccurateRip confirmation the highest percentage of the
time when ripping similar condition cd surfaces. IMHO if using secure
mode w/ c2 reporting on a drive that's questionable or hasn't been
tested using something other than the built-in EAC tester- should use
T&C as well. Secure mode without c2 enabled is test and copy by its
very nature (so long as either your drive doesn't cache audio, or you
have the cache box checked in EAC drive settings).
