I strongly disagree. Free and commercial software live side by side in 
many areas. The commercial software has to be better to survive.

And I'm not sure what you mean by "accurate rip" market,
for example, the accuraterip website is totally closed, you have
to be running on Windows.

Your moral is wrong. All software is worth what the user thinks.
You clearly think dbPowerAmp is not worth what they are charging. So 
don't buy it.

Software has to compete on total value delivered and total cost.
The purchase price is typically a tiny cost of a product.
