That logic would make Windows a pretty darned good OS, though from your last statement I can see how the cost of training employees (or one's self) on a non-standard OS would add to the total cost. Something would have to be twice as good as EAC for me to pay money for it, after all bits are bits. Making waffles would be a good start... Willyhoops, EAC is NOT slow. Either one's drive or re-reading every sector can be slow, but EAC gives many other options for the impatient, including burst mode with test and copy- which is considered as accurate as secure mode by some. Since pristine discs will usually satisfy accurateRip with one pass in burst mode, I don't see a need to pay cash for an app that will re-rip with the same method when there is a mismatch, because re-ripping with a different method will be much more effective and seldom required. -- Skunk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2685 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34232 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
