If I tick band/orchestra in the section "COMPOSER, BAND AND ORCHESTRA IN ARTISTS", that will affect the behavior in non-compilation albums, which I don't want to do. (I do not want to list bands and composers in the with artists for my classical collection.) I am checking "list albums by band" in the compilation section so that it will list it by "albumartist" or album artist". (Just above that selection box, it says "Albums that contain songs that are tagged with a band may be listed under that band name or with the other artists for that album. The band tag is also known as TPE2 and may appear as the "album artist" in some software.") Incidentally, my flac tags for classical include "band" and "composer" (composer and artist tags are the same, but formatted differently). Sounds like I might not be able to get what I want with flac tags.
