I use mp3tag. Mine are flac tags, and the tag names are "artist" "albumartist" and "album artist". (I have albumartist as both one and two words to cover the bases.) I do not have a tag explicitly labeled "TPE2". I had assumed that for flac files, slimserver would fetch the contents of the albumartist (or album artist) tag and use it as it would TEP2. Incidentially, I also have a "band" tag for my classical music.
