mswlogo, I don't mean to sound harsh but that's not at all how it works. "horse power" does not determine how accurately you can interpolate something; information above the nyquist freq was already lost forever when it was originally sampled. and dithering is done even when resampling at a higher resolution in order to make introduced quantization noise less audible.
