If these are CDs that play in a normal audio player, try EAC (Exact Audio Copy). Just today I used EAC to extract the audio from a Keiko Matsui disc "protected" by Cactus Data Shield. The extraction was painfully slow, and EAC reported errors, but when I listened to the result it seemed fine.
