Can't believe that the CD will play in an audio player but EAC won't
extract it. Did EAC report a data track? If so, maybe it has an
autorun program that's already installed a "virus" on you system that
is blocking EAC. EAC disables autorun IF you start EAC before the disc
is inserted, but I'm guessing you inserted the disc a few times trying
other strategies before you even installed EAC.

Note that there are some pretty viscious schemes out there; Sony's copy
protection scheme installed a "root kit" on the computer from it's
autorun, software that is normally used by hackers to "take over" a
computer.

If EAC reported a data track and if you have the opportunity, go to
another computer that has not been used for CD audio extraction,
install EAC first, then insert the disc and try it.

Is there any logo or such giving a clue as to which copy protection
scheme was used?
