"Best" depends on what you're looking for. "Best audio quality"
usually means EAC, though dBpowerAMP is catching up.

Some find EAC intimidating and difficult, but there is this:

As to finding the names of the files, none of them work perfectly.
Expect to correct a lot of miscapitalizations and odd genre choices.

Well a CD is 650 MB, but they're rarely full, so estimate, say, 550 MB.
Older CDs tend to be less than this, so this is probably a worst-case
scenario.

Lossless compression is on the order of 60% - again, worst case
scenario, you'll probably be better than this, but not much better than
50% at any rate.

So 60% of 550 MB = 330 MB. Multiply that by 200 CDs = 66 000 MB = only
64 GB. A 250 GB or even a 160 GB drive would be more than adequate,
although the cost/GB advantage goes to the 500 GB drives right now.

Make sure you get TWO drives along with a USB enclosure so you can
maintain a backup! You don't want to have to rip again should a drive
fail, do you?
