EAC is a great ripper. It's a bit fiddly to set up, and not that fast to rip (when you use secure modes), but with <100 CDs, you'll be done in a week or less, so that's no hassle. There are other rippers, sure, but you can't go wrong with EAC for the ultimate results. I use it :) FLAC vs Apple lossless? FLAC integrates nicely with EAC, so you can have EAC fire up the compressor and so you get nice FLAC files direct. If you wanted to use Apple lossless, you'd need to rip with EAC to wav, then get iTunes to compress. Grief. iTunes will rip and compress in one step, but is not as secure a ripper.
