The freedb does a decent job finding 99% of CDs, but the quality of the results can be low. MusicBrainz on the other hand has much higher data quality, but seems to have a 95% hit rate. I would setup EAC to use MusicBrainz as a primary tag source, and freedb as a backup source. See: http://musicbrainz.org/doc/FreeDBGateway I also use the beta musicbrainz picard tagger with the lastfm and amazon plugins to get good genre tags and album art. -- SuperQ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SuperQ's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2139 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38164 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
