OK, so I was able to rip a cd (Blue Train) after figuring out that AccurateRip was functioning. The screen appears for such a short period that it was almost impossible to notice. I ripped the cd and my default directory was C:/rips. The selections from the cd appear as :"John Coltrane - Blue Train (The Ultimate Blue Train) - 01 - Blue Train.flac." Now this is the part that I find confusing. When I checked properties for type of file, what appeared was : MediaMonkey file (.flac). Why is Media Monkey the default player? Is this a problem? Will I run into difficulty when I start using the SB3 which I ordered today? Are there other players that I should consider other than mediaMonkey? -- alstein ------------------------------------------------------------------------ alstein's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13093 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38164 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
