I had the same problem. My solution was to embed the album art in the
first track of each song from each album (or my favorite song off the
album which is going to end up on my iPhone). Do I have cover art on
every song while it plays on my iPhone, I do not. But I do have every
album cover when I browse Artists or Albums and that is what I was
going for. If one wants the album art to show for every song played,
the only way I know how to get that done on iPhone or iPod is to embed
every song. Somebody else may know how to get around that.
