I think the foobar2000 team have (or had) some sort of moral objection to embedded artwork in mp3s. Last time I used foobar to edit the tags on some mp3s with embedded artwork it deleted all the artwork. This was some time ago so I don't know if things have changed at all. Foobar can be very useful but I'm careful not to let it near any mp3s with embedded artwork now.
