Thanks Marcus/Bigfool. That kind of clears it up. And I already went through FLAC/CoolEditPro/FLAC to get a 24/48 stream. Dropping every second sample seems a crude way to treat delicate music. Again out of curiousity: WinAmp with my PC/build in Audio cannot be a lot cleverer than the SB3, can it? So does it "downsample" in the same way?
