Thanks for the response Phil. I am streaming flac as flac and using
the native sb flac decoder but I think that I am tying myself into
knots... All I want to do is to transcribe DVD-As that I own into the
best format for streaming to a SB3. I am using DVD-Audio Explorer to
rip the tracks as a stereo downmix to a 96/24 wav file. I then use
Sound Forge (rather than dbpoweramp now) to create Flac or Wav files as
required. As mentioned above I am having no success with 24bit files.
Interestingly, 96/24 wav files are not picked up during a Music Library
rescan whilst 48/16 files are. (ntom, how are you playing 96/24?)

th00ht: Sorry for hijacking your thread!

Cheers.
