Try checking that your drive hasn't changed from DMA to PIO? Windows key+ Pause-Break > Hardware > Device Manager > IDE ATA etc. Right click each of the IDE channels, Properties > Advanced Settings and check that all transfer modes are set to "DMA if available" Long shot, and apologies if that's teaching you to suck eggs, as they say round my way. And indeed possibly round your way, who knows! ;-) -- moley6knipe 2 x SqueezeBox 3 | 1 x SqueezeCenter 7 | 1 x Win XP Pro SP2 | 1 x Happy listener :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ moley6knipe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10014 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47951 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
