Okay, so you haven't got an Album Artist tag; you've used Band instead. I assume that in Settings > Music Library, you have selected "Treat TPE2 MP3 tag as Album Artist", and thus your Band tag has been read as if it was Album Artist.
There must be a fault with this new option, in that it is reading TPE2 as Album Artist instead of Band, but doesn't work the same way as having a true Album Artist tag (i.e. sounds like "Group compilation albums together" doesn't work in conjunction with "Treat TPE2 MP3 tag as Album Artist"). You could try adding a TXXX ALBUMARTIST tag to the songs on the album, remove the Band tag and rescanning to see if it does then work correctly.
