So, at the moment you are seeing the songs on the album reported with Album Artist and Track Artist tags, and no Artist tags? It's easier to see if you look at the album in the WebUI.

You shouldn't need to set COMPILATION=0 when it detects an album artist (if every song on the album has the same album artist), but it shouldn't do any harm.
