Maybe I need a to start a new topic on 'Why I got it working' :-) Is 'because I can' a good enough reason?
I can rip each CD separately with track numbers 1 to whatever which generally ties up with the CDs printed track information. I appreciate that individual CD track numbering is a limitation of the medium but I'm not using my SB to free me from the medium, only to make it sound better. I quite often pull the CD out when listening so I can read the sleeve notes and look at the track listings. I dont need to edit the second or subsequent CDs track number tags or file names. SC will join it all together so that I can play the whole album from start to finish by selecting one entry. If I want to play a single track I can browse track names under a single album entry.
