They typically unpack to 20bit when decoded not 24bit. 20Bits is plenty
good though.

Note the bitrate will not change between the wrapped Wav file and the
decoded stream. If the Wav is 44.1 the decoding will be 44.1. If the
Wav is 48 the decoding will be 48.
