Eric,

Now that I have figured out the tools I needed and steps to take, all
your posts make sense and I should have been able to see that you had
the issues solved. Sometimes it takes trial and error to make the
theoretical make sense and that was certainly the case with me.

I wholeheartedly agree about the amount of time and the steps involved
so I am only taking these steps on those DVD-Audio discs that do not
have DTS or AC3 tracks and the MLP encoded 5.1 tracks are well done
technically and musically. I have found the stereo tracks are generally
good and quite simple to extract and encode, just a pain to enter
metadata manually.
