I have a similar structure:
Compilations\
Hampshire Jam Preserved\
cd1\
<songs>

<songs>
All songs are mp3, id3v2.4. The last song on cd1 is by Headshock. The first
song on cd2 is by Radio Massacre International. Other tags I have are:
COMPILATION=1
ITUNESCOMPILATION=1 (this represents the TCMP frame)
YEAR=2002
GENRE=Electronic
DISC
DISCC=2
DISCNUMBER
No TXXX ALBUMARTIST tag, no BAND (TPE2).
I think that's pretty much what you have in your example. Only my album works
- it appears as one album.
