Dealing with 2 first, if the artwork is the same for each track then embedding in each track will use n times the amount of disk space for n tracks. If the track artwork is different per track I can see embedding as worth doing. Number 1 has two alternatives. Firstly, you can include the artwork in the album folder. When I use this method, I call it cover.jpg. Secondly, you can keep all the artwork on one folder, which I prefer as it is easier to maintain. Within SC, under Settings, Advanced, Formatting, Artwork I have '%ARTIST - ALBUM'. Under Artwork Folder I've specified a folder that all artwork goes into and the artwork file names are in the form 'Artist - Album.jpg'. Note that this is case dependant so an artist of 'Gentle Giant' and album of 'Edge _of_ Twilight' will not match artwork called 'Gentle Giant - Edge _Of_ Twilight.jpg'. Ask me how I know ;-) You can use all methods at the same time as SC will look for one then the other. I can't remember which it chooses first if more than one method is used. -- Mick Seymour ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mick Seymour's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21137 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58551 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
