I think I will, in the light of what you say, use the "folder" method. The disk space one wastes with the "embedded per title" method is minimal but my computer philosophy is generally to keep everything as lean as possible; so this will be a step in the right direction. Another consideration is that a little program I use for detecting duplicates does not identify an audio track with embedded art and the same track without it as duplicates - indeed - why should it ! I think my next steps will be as follows : 1) For those albums which are consistent with my folder structure I can move the art I've embedded per album to a general folder (along the lines suggested by Mick in his last post). 2) For those artists where I have no album folder I can save a "cover.jpg" in the respective artist folder. I'll let youknow if I succeed.
