The same thing can be said for other kind of statistics such as "last played time" or "play counts".
However, the POPM tag actually supports multiple users so each user can set their own rating, it's just that no application I've seen use this functionality correctly. Almost every application available handles it differently, most store it in their internal database and those that use the POPM tag use different values for a 4 star rating. As I showed you earlier in this thread, I've code in Custom Scan to compensate for this to make it possible to import ratings from both MM and WMP so a 4 star rating in respective application becomes a 4 star rating in SqueezeCenter. So unless something has change the last year, which is highly unlikely, MM and WMP does NOT write the same values to the POPM tag. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) 'My download page' (http://erland.isaksson.info/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59929 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
