I would be really suspicious of a car manufacturer that provides a highly proprietary (although popular) external connection to play your music in a car.
Car manufacturer and Apple are practically forcing you to change all your set up... Personally, I would reject such a solution out of a principle. I have all my music in flac and copy flac directories to a portable $50 Sansa Clip (20GB with micro card) player, then just external 3.5 mm jack into the simplest possible car radio in Jeep Wrangler. For the few recordings that are above Red Book I need to downgrade. I'm sure I'm not missing any fidelity, but the extra step is still annoying. Does the car radio supports 'EXT' 3.5 mm jack ? -- matka George Transporter->Pathos Logos->Triangle Celius 2 Duets, 1 Boom, 1 SB3 Sansa Clip Plus -> AKG K 420 Fedora Core Linux ------------------------------------------------------------------------ matka's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34878 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84652 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
