I too at first thought that de-clicking would degrade the transfer (and
I suppose, by definition, it does), but the software I used did a fine
job of just removing the click (I also used the lowest setting).  Once
ripped, its an easy task to go back and de-click, so I guess that the
best workflow is to keep a clean rip for storage and a de-clicked
version for listening (although I did not find this necessary)
