I've changed my mind a little since then. Music similarity is now much higher on my "would be nice to have" list, but fingerprinting is still the primary focus. audiomuze;638442 Wrote: > I'd be happy to run it against my collection, which is pretty big and > pretty well tagged, however, given it's CPU intensive etc. it's > something I'd like to do once, much like MusicIP analysis. At the moment it can't do that, but I can add an option to write such files. audiomuze;638442 Wrote: > 2) >95% of my tracks contain a musicip_puid tag entry - is this > sufficient for you to easily link your ID to musicbrainz or do you > require the other musicbrainz metadata I referred to above? The application doesn't use the musicip_puid tag for now, but I'll definitely make it do so. Having the PUIDs makes it much easier to link to MusicBrainz. I just haven't thought of the case when somebody has PUID embedded in the tags, but not MusicBrainz IDs. -- lukaslalinsky ------------------------------------------------------------------------ lukaslalinsky's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47841 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88515 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
