I agree with all of this, but I want to clarify what I think you are getting at with regard to a Compilation entry in the browser... This menu entry would essentially grab anything that is 1) tagged as a compilation (COMPILATION = 1) or 2) what SBS might interpret as a compilation if AA is not set and ARTIST varies on an album. Then you leave the current browse my ARTIST menu to only show what is there without SBS interpreting what is a compilation with regards to this menu. It makes sense. It should satisfy the 3 types of users mentioned previously, although I'm not sure how easy it would be to fix. It really seems like the easy fix would be to make is such that albums with the AA = VARIOUS ARTISTS (or whatever one calls it) to be all lumped together regardless of the Compilation tag, but then I think this is just preaching to the choir anyway. -- emalvick ------------------------------------------------------------------------ emalvick's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35382 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88072 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
