I have a large number of downloaded live shows that must be manually tagged as they do not show up in databases. I keep the separate discs in subfolders. I use the album tag to differentiate between disc 1 and disc 2. For example Dave Alvin Acoustic Music San Diego 11-1-08 d1, Dave Alvin Acoustic Music San Diego 11-1-08 d2. It works fine and then there is no additional field to fill in.
