I guess I should have clarified. I meant is it slow compared to other 2.4 kernel distro's, ie Mandrake 8.1, SuSe 7.3, RedHat 7.2. I have been using linux for quite awhile now (about five years or so) started out with RedHat and stayed with it, then went to SuSe 7.2, 7.3. I am currently running Mandrake 8.1 and I like it alot. No speed problems at all (of course it is i586 optimized)however, SuSe 7.3 is i386 and it seems to run just as fast. Pretty much the same with RedHat 7.2. I have installed and ran all of these distro's on the same computer Athlon 1.4 GHz 40 Gig Hard Drive 512 Mb DDR Ram 24x10x40 CDrw Ensoniq Sound card ATI Xpert 2000 video card
With both ext3 and Reiser as the file system. I have not installed RedmondLinux on this computer yet. I plan on trying it out in the next day or so. I just wanted to know if it really is slower than all of the other distro's (like I have heard some people claim it was)? It looks like a good distro that has a nice clean design, I just hope it is not as slow as some people have said it is. Also why not includ the OpenGL drivers with the distrobution and just charge for new updated games or charge for new drivers as they become available.
