FYI, according to Randy (the Pyramid.Net sysadmin), Pyramid
upgraded their web servers to Win2k a couple years ago.  It's
possible they had too many problems and went back to NT, but that
just doesn't sound like Bob (owner of P.N).

Also, if it helps, Great Basin hosts sites on 2 different web
servers: 1 FreeBSD and 1 Redhat Linux (8.0, IIRC).  But they're
not hosting any of my sites, so I can't vouch for it directly.

Also, Great Basin's tech support are more knowledgeable on the
whole than Pyramid; I often had to call the sysadmin directly
because the Techs didn't know what I was talking about. "What?!
You're _not_ asking how to set up your email?!"  And they keep
better hours: 8am to midnight, 7 days/wk.

Anyway, that's my 3 cents. ;)
