ok, now we have autogen.sh. that should equip the clean svn copy with the actual autoconf stuff. usually one should be able to just run autoreconf -i (--force), but that is missing the intltoolize. I've allso added all those autogenerated files to .svnignore, so they won't bother one getting or not getting committed... pherhaps we should add the ChangeLog svn checkout command in front of auttoreconnf in autogen.sh
