Following on from Steve's comments about presentation to the board... I know this is probably an impossible dream...but... Isn't it strange that whereas an Architect is expected to present his/her building designs to the client be they blueprints, models, or interactive computer-based walkthroughs of the building before it has been built, a Business or Systems Analyst or Software Architect would get fired if s/he presented a UML model to the board no matter how high level !
