I'll add that you should by no means consider going to any bother on my account, and you should trust your own instincts more than mine. My guitars are covered with dust, and I'd probably sell them if they were worth anything. I just don't play guitar much at all anymore, and I don't have much use for any of this, and therefore little interest in working on it myself. Since I am very unlikely to roll up my sleeves and pitch in, you should definitely do things however you see fit. -- D.
