this is my first post (very good work! btw), and these are my opinions

I think the best categorizing system is tagging, a_la gmail, or
flickr, you know.

following with the tagging system, i think no problem if someone
changes, adds or deletes tags to an existing or new chord. And if
someone deletes preselected tags, delete the preferences and open
rosegarden again!

the best place for this is the application preferences in the user
folder, not the song. It's like saving the OpenOffice personal
dictionary with the document...
