Have you considered contacting Aptana? Now that they took over RadRails, they 
might be interested in keeping RDT alive.. or IBM should donate something, 
I'm sure they don't want to capitulate before Sun and NetBeans!

What pricing model do you have in mind? Something like Textmate? I'm a linux 
user so I don't find the idea of buying software very appealing, but if you 
look at Textmate's success, that might actually work on other platforms.
