Hi All,
I would like to know if this is true. I'm betting urban legend. I
even spent ten minutes on the Kalmbach website trying to find an
address for Mr. K to ask him directly. I didn't say I don't read MR.
I try to look it over at my local library every month. I said I don't
buy it much any more. They don't have enough of interest for me to
invest my money buying it and space storing it. Funny that several
folks have mentioned the product reviews. I thought they had been
getting a bit more critical lately. As for printed material, I have
about 300 titles in the RR library. Heck, I even have five books about
the NYC! Now if that's not being open minded, what is? (A little
Pennsy humor there!) I have several Kalmbach titles in there including
a couple favorites. "Twilight of the Great Trains" is one of the best
books I've ever read. If you like passenger trains, you should have a
copy. Also, being something of a trackplan junkie, I have every issue
of Model Railroading Planning. I wish that one came out monthly! At
least one issue has an S scale trackplan. (required content.)
