They were cast mostly by LFM in the U.S. and Dofasco in Canada, but GSC 
also made some, more than likely from the same patterns and more than 
likely to keep up with orders.

There were four types of this truck and info on the differences can be

It would appear that the truck was of EMD's design as it was introduced in 
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1936>1936 and named after Martin Blomberg, 
who joined the company the year before. Blomberg immigrated from Norway and 
found work at Pullman designing trucks and underframes. He did most of the 
design on the Pullman M-10000 as well as the three axle EMD truck.
