John, please report back when you get to testing speakers. When you get
to the stage of having the engine shaking from the speaker vibrations(
aka certain groups of folks who put speakers in their car trunks that
drive me crazy at red lights) let me know where you got them.
I would assume that all these flat speakers come from laptop computers
and similar handheld 'sound' games. There are tons of them around. I
wish I could find another couple of PFM's edgeports though. If you have
a good sized tender PFM's regular round speaker is also excellent, I
have one mounted in the tender of my FEF (still waiting for some
tweaking and paint) and when that steamboat whistle blows everybody
turns to watch it.
