Hello Butch

We've used all the major brands of decoders but NCE is preferrerd.  The
13SR/SRJ is probably in more locos, overall, but the P2KSR has an 8 pin
plug built in and plugs right into a few of the SHS locos.  All of their
HO decoders seem to work well, just different wiring depending on the
shape.

Lately, we've been putting a Lenz Gold with BEMF in one unit of a consist
and it seems to keep the whole thing moving nice and slow.  Got some TCS
in there also for their 1.5 volt regulators.  These three brands seem to
play together nicely.

We tried Big D for a while but they seem to be less user freindly then the
rest.
