Unless I wanted to very much limit my design, I needed to go 30" min for all
but one layover track, which is 24". It is always nice to be able to have
broad curves, but sometime you just have to go with what you've got. Since I'm
modeling a branch line that uses small equipment, even 24" will work. Most of
the BAR turntables are 75' anyway, so nothing large will run here. I find that
I save myself a good deal of money by not being able to run any imported brass
:o)
