Not true of Pacific Rail Shops (original kits) either if they are 
built per the instructions.  The wheels rub on the brake lines.  Of 
course if you clip the brake lines or do not install them, the cars 
will negotiate a tighter radius.

I do not know if this is true for the Des Plaines' version of these 
cars.
