anymore about the speeder delivery

Hi Gary...The last I heard was that Briggs Model Co. was working on
the boxes and shipping cartons to prevent damage while in transit. I
believe he sent an email to that effect to this list quite some time
ago. I have also heard from another person that Mr. Briggs has been
known to tell things that are not true. This other person has "been
had" and is somewhat resentful.

The 0-6-0 program has not had any visible tangible forward progress
in a couple of years. That alone tells me a lot. I still do not
have the Cryer Gray brass gondola in my hands although I keep seeing
that he is selling them on eBay. Of course, I wanted trucks and
lettering and paint with my gondola and the cars on eBay are without
trucks or lettering or paint. This has been going on for a year or
more now. How long does it take to make trucks and decals? Most
frustrating to be sure.

Personally, I'd be very surprised if a brass 0-6-0 or working speeder
ever showed up in my mailbox. Guess I am getting pessimistic in my
old age. Hope not, but gotta face reality.

Not so cheerfully....Ed L.
