Does broken glass get shipped as shards of glass, or ground up like sand?
Does anyone have photos of such a load?

I would probably take thin clear plastic sheet and cut it up into tiny
irregular pieces for a shard glass look, or get some fine white sand for
ground up glass... I am sure that a shard glass load might have many
thicknesses of glass, so cutting up any clear plastic ought to work, such as
bubble packaging or other plastic packaging.

So, any ideas out there on how to model broken glass? Not a little
bit, either, I'm talking a whole gondola-load full of it! I'm working
on a Glass Block manufactury, and I figure that's a great way to
recycle broken glass - melt it down, add some new glass to the mix,
and cast new blocks! Only problem is, how to model a gondola full of
broken glass? Ideas?
